Attendance

North Kansas City Schools believes that regular attendance at school is important. In fact, research has demonstrated a correlation between good attendance and the likelihood of good academic progress. However, it is recognized that there are occasions when it is necessary that a student be absent from school all or part of the day. Students must stay home when sick only if they have had vomiting, a fever or diarrhea in the past 24 hours. 

When your student will be absent, please call the attendance line at (816) 321-5322 to report the absence. Please note that the attendance line does get busy in the mornings. When you call, please leave a message.

When picking up or dropping off your student during the school day, please do so at the student entrance at the back of the school.
